The Romanian Journal of Modern History is a peer-reviewed journal published under the auspices of the Faculty of History within “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iaşi. The articles and book reviews cover topics regarding Romanian and universal modern history (especially 18th and 19th centuries).
The publication is indexed in the International Database CEEOL – Central and Eastern European Online Library
The journal is intended not only for established researchers and historians, but also for PhD students and young scientists from Romania and abroad. The editorial board is interested in publishing articles and book reviews which cover topics related to the Romanian modernity (the end of the 18th century – the beginning of the 20th century until the end of the First World War) and also to the universal modernity (17th-19th centuries).
